Welcome to the Woodlands

Recognized internationally for its thoughtful design and wildlife preservation, The Woodlands has been patterned but never equaled. The master plan centers around “villages” that help promote community and convenience for families fortunate to call The Woodlands home.

Each village setting includes easy access to wonderful parks, playgrounds, schools, religious congregations and shopping. While hundreds of miles of trails and pathways crisscross to connect every corner of the community. Those trails, plus multiple community pools, organized youth programs and world-class facilities reflect the active, family-friendly environment of The Woodlands.

Town Center is the heartbeat of the community with a balance of retail, restaurants and business development designed to embrace the beauty of its surroundings. From the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion to Waterway Square and neighborhood parks, live music and theater events headline a calendar full of world-class entertainment and celebrations throughout the year.

Top rated schools serve the students of The Woodlands, and an eclectic range of neighborhoods, from golf course to lakeside to the urban setting of Town Center and exclusive gated communities, offer everyone the opportunity to put down roots in this special place.

Creekside Park

Creekside Park is the newest village developed in The Woodlands and encompasses all the beauty, splendor and amenities that have become a Woodlands tradition. With nearly 2,000 acres of parks, lakes, and ponds, families in Creekside benefit from an unparalleled quality of life.

The George Mitchell Nature Preserve, named for the founder of The Woodlands, is accessible from multiple points in Creekside and offers miles of hiking trails and access to the Spring Creek Greenway. Creekside is also home to the Rob Fleming park, which includes an outdoor pavilion, BBQ pits, and an aquatic center with a lazy river, a two-story water slide and an interactive play area right in the pool.

Creekside is growing! A 60-acre village center is currently under development and has brought grocery shopping, restaurants and retail into the neighborhood. Recent improvements to the infrastructure in and around Creekside have made access easier to I-45 and the Grand Parkway.

Carlton Woods Creekside golf course, designed by Tom Fazio, provides superior golf opportunities, and children here attend Creekside Forest or Timber Creek Elementary (K-6). Two more school sites have been committed to meet future demands.
